Cathedral Basilica of Saint Louis
Project Overview
This project includes three phases an audio upgrade, a video upgrade, and complete tonal and mechanical rebuild of the cathedral organ.
Audio Phase Highlights:

EAW AC6 speakers for the choir when in the gallery

Q-Sys control system (Core 110)

New Q-sys touch panels in three locations for control of the sound system based upon the user log in that is entered. The panels are located in the sacristy, behind the altar in the sanctuary, and in the choir loft.

Adding new Rinkus-Heinz ICONYX IC8 in each transept to fill in dead spots in the sound system

Adding room microphones to mix into the livestream bringing a more immersive experience for livestream viewers. Audix miniturized shotgun microphone M1250BWO

New QSC monitors for the choir loft

Re-tuning and optimizing of the sound system for the cathedral
Organ Phase Highlights:

Re-leathering of the swell, choir, and great division mechanics

Re-leathering of all wind reservoirs

Complete new control system for the organ replacing the old peterson control system with a new Virtuoso system by IOTI

Replacing the failed Gallery division with a restored 1952, 35 rank, 3-manual Kilgen which is new to the cathedral.

Twin matching consoles based off of the gallery console. The gallery console will be designed as such that it can be moved and played anywhere in the gallery including in the transepts, or chancel.

Tonal refinement of the main organ in the sanctuary

Replace all digital stops with vintage pipework that stays true to the style and period of the cathedral Kilgen organs.
